Sarah Falbo's Background

Sarah currently teaches English at Shady Side Academy Middle School.  She is a Fellow with the Western Pennsylvania Writing Project and served as a judge for the Scholastic Writing Awards. She has also taught and directed the Young Writers Institute for fifteen summers and has led essay workshops for high school students.  She presented "College Essay Overview: Purpose, Audience and How to Choose Your Topic" for the Crossroads Foundation Scholars.    

 

Throughout her 30 plus years as an educator, Sarah has taught Literature in the Mt. Lebanon School District and developed writing curriculum for the Environmental Charter School.  She was also the writing and enrichment teacher at St. Thomas More School (now Ava Maria Academy).
